Tteokbokki

Hi :)
Today dish is Tteokbokki.

Do you know Tteokbokki? It is rice cakes (Tteok) in hot sauce. This is popular dish in young Korea people.

The advantage of Tteokbokki is many sauce. If you change sauce, you can enjoy variety of flavors. Depending on the spices, change the name of Tteokbokki. This kind of Gung-jung Tteokbokki with soy, Jja-jang Tteokbokki and so on. To cook today is classic Tteokbokki with Gochujang. And it is very easy cook!! This is probably the first time I learned cooking. Because, this is my favorite food. And when I was a kid, my dad did this food. But, today I had to cook for my family. Anyway, today is a special day.

Now, I'll introduce material.
Most important thing is the Tteok.

There are many kinds of Tteok. But, we need Galaetteok. Galaetteok is made by only pure rice without a little spice.

And other materials is half onion, chopped green onion.

The sauce of the material is half teaspoon tomato ketchup, half teaspoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon Gochujang.

Gochujang is made by red pepper. It is essential sauce to Koreans.

Now, I'll start cooking.

1. Put the Tteok in boiling water. Until Tteok float.
This means that the Tteok is done.

2. If you think it's too much water, you can take out of it.

3. We put sauce and onion.
    It mix 1~2 minute.

4. Add chopped green onion.

5. Cooking is the end!!!

TIP>
1. You need more delicious, put instant noodles. It is called Labokki. I think Labokki more delicious than Tteokbokki.
2. If you can not buy Tteok, dough can instead. But taste of fall.

At the end, I am very proud to complete the cooking. I personally was delicious. Of course, my family also praise me. Cooking gets completed only 15 minutes.
Try cooking! Probably Tteokbokki will be a good snack.
