Japchae


 Hello everyone. :-) Today dish is jap-chae
 Do you know Jap-chae? Jap-chae is a Korean dish made from sweet potato noodles (called dangmyeon), stir fried in sesame oil with various vegetables (typically thinly sliced carrots, onion, spinach, and mushrooms), sometimes served with beef, and flavoured with soy sauce, and sweetened with sugar. It is usually served garnished with sesame seeds and slivers of chili. It may be served either hot or cold. (From Wikipedia). This dish is served at Korean parties and special occasions with seasonal vegetables added. Jap-chae are many varieties. Gochu jap-chae (made with pepper), Kongnamul jap-chae(made with soybean sprouts) and so on...... I'm cooking a basic jap-chae.
Following the bulgogi, the first time I'm cooking Japchae.
 
 
Now, I'll introduce material.

most important thing is dangmyeon. And I'm put in spinach, carrots, mushrooms, meat, onions only.
 
Now, I'll start cooking.
1. I'll soak Dangmyeon in water.

2. Cut carrot, mushroom and onion. And carrots, mushrooms and onion roast at low heat.

3. Spinach boiled in water. And I put seasoned salt and garlic. Cut the easy-to-eat spinach. Because large spinach is difficult to eat.
4. Long cut, the meat is seasoned with soy sauce and pepper. And I bake the flesh.
5. Dangmeyon boiled in water about 8 minute.
6. Mix all the ingredients.

7. I put soy sauce and sesame oil here.

8. Cooking was completed.


 I really liked Jap-chae. But it is really hard to cook. I was one of the most time-consuming tried.
So jap-chae just eat special day. Of course, japchae is very delicious. In spite of the first time.
However, I think it is difficult to again.
 
TIP>
1. delicious to eat and put on top of the rice Japchae. People called it japchaebap. This is a popular menu of a Chinese restaurant.
2. Put the fish paste in place of meat. Then you can make inexpensively.
 
 

Bulgogi


 Hello everyone. Today dish is Bulgogi. Bulgogi is a Korean dish that usually consists of grilled marinated beef. Bulgogi is most famous Korean food. There are many bulgogi restaurants abroad. Jessica Alba was also posted to Twitter a few years ago for bulgogi. I quite liked the food. To eat a hamburger, I only eat bulgogi burger. But, in fact, It's the first time to cook Bulgogi. I always go to a restaurant to eat. So, I was worried that there is no taste of Bulgogi. My recipe may be so very funny. Keep in mind that I try to bulgogi for the first time.
 
Now, I'll introduce material.

The most important meat. I used the meat of pig paw. It is low in fat for that part. And Onions, mushrooms, minced garlic, sesame leaves is required. Also, due to the delicious seasoning, soy sauce, red pepper paste and sugar is required, The sauce can buy at grocery stores. However, I will that at home.
 
Now, I'll start cooking.
1. Seasoning is important. Seasoning soy sauce, red pepper paste, 2 tablespoons. And sugar, minced garlic, 1 tablespoon. Put a little sesame oil. A lot of onion slices.

2. I put the onion and seasoning mix into meat.

3. Ripen in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

4. I put the fried mushrooms and sesame leaves when you fry the meat.

5. Cooking was completed.

 
I can make the delicious bulgogi. Next, I'll make more delicious bulgogi.
 

TIP> 
1. Fried rice to eat bulgogi sauce is optional.
2. Beef bulgogi is more delicious than pig meat bulgogi.
3. Put the squid bulgogi, this is called osam-bulgogi.
4. People also make a Bulgogi Jeongol. Jeongol is a traditional Korean dish made by stewing bite-sized pieces of beef, pork, or seafood along with seasonings, vegetables, and mushrooms in a pot at the table. But bulgogi jeongol is very difficult to me.

Kimchi Jjigae

Hi :) today dish is Kimchi Jjigae
Do you know Kimchi Jjigae? Kimchi Jjigae is a variety of jjigae, or stew-like Korean dish, made with kimchi and other ingredients, such as scallions, onions, diced tofu, pork, and seafood, although pork and seafood are generally not used in the same recipe. It is one of the most common jjigae in Korea. (From Wikipedia). I love Kimchi Jjigae. Especially, It reminds me of a rainy day. Depending on material, Kimchi Jjigae name is changing.
I did not make this time. When I put the instant noodles (=ramen) and ham, It is Budae Jjigae (=stew). Once put to a Kimchi Jjigae of tofu, It is Tofu Jjigae. I do not like tofu.
So today, put my favorite tuna. If I put the tuna, It become delicious tuna kimchi Jjigae.
 
Now, I'll introduce material.
The ingredients are very simple.

Kimchi, instant canned tuna, onions, green onion, water only. But Kimchi is very important. Because the taste of Kimchi Jjigae decide.
 
Now, I'll start cooking.
1. Kimchi cut moderation.

2. Fry lightly with sesame oil to put in a pot kimchi. And I put a little bit of sugar. Because more delicious when I put the sugar.
3. After a moderately roasted, add the water.

4. The water boils, put the onion and green onion.

5. Finally, I put the my favorite tuna.
Watch your fingers when opening cans.

6. The cuisine was completed.
 
I like all the kimchi dish. What kind of food is delicious if only kimchi. I may do kimchi specialty restaurant later. There is confidence in the Kimchi dish I so. It was still delicious this time. It is a pity that it is not possible to display the taste of my cooking.

1. Kimchi is delicious pot boil long enough.

Kim bap


 Hi today dish is Kimbap.
Do you know kimbap? Kimbap is a Korean dish of steamed white rice and other ingredients rolled in sheets of dried laver seaweed and served in bite-size slices.

 When I was kid, Kimbap was special food. Kimbap was the food that I can eat only when I go to the picnic. But, now I have money. So, wherever I can buy Kimbap. Kimbap is easy to eat food. So, when go to picnic, Korean people prepare Kimbap. And when you are busy, sometimes you can eat Kimbap.

 Korea Kimbap is similar with california roll. Kimbap and california roll have in common various. even if Kimbap and california roll change only one material, they have a variety flavors. For example, type of the kimbap is tuna kimbap, cheese kimbap, kimchi kimbap, bulgogi kimbap and so on...
 
 
 Now, I'll introduce material.
Kimbap the most basic materials is laver and rice. You put ingredients you want. I've prepared basic kimbap material.

 Pickled radish, ham, crab meat, sesame leaves, and Zidane. Zidane is like a fried egg.
I'll show you a picture.

I put a little salt and sesame oil in rice. Bake the ham. And, Zidane ready to chop long.
 
Now, I'll start cooking.

1. Put rice in a sheet of laver. Rice put about 2/3 of the laver.


2. Two sesame leaves be placed on the rice.
And put ham, Zidane, crab meat, pickled radish.


3. You should roll it slow.

Too strongly or too fast roll it. Laver may be torn.


4. Subsequently, greasy knife cut kimbap.
