Kim bap


 Hi today dish is Kimbap.
Do you know kimbap? Kimbap is a Korean dish of steamed white rice and other ingredients rolled in sheets of dried laver seaweed and served in bite-size slices.

 When I was kid, Kimbap was special food. Kimbap was the food that I can eat only when I go to the picnic. But, now I have money. So, wherever I can buy Kimbap. Kimbap is easy to eat food. So, when go to picnic, Korean people prepare Kimbap. And when you are busy, sometimes you can eat Kimbap.

 Korea Kimbap is similar with california roll. Kimbap and california roll have in common various. even if Kimbap and california roll change only one material, they have a variety flavors. For example, type of the kimbap is tuna kimbap, cheese kimbap, kimchi kimbap, bulgogi kimbap and so on...
 
 
 Now, I'll introduce material.
Kimbap the most basic materials is laver and rice. You put ingredients you want. I've prepared basic kimbap material.

 Pickled radish, ham, crab meat, sesame leaves, and Zidane. Zidane is like a fried egg.
I'll show you a picture.

I put a little salt and sesame oil in rice. Bake the ham. And, Zidane ready to chop long.
 
Now, I'll start cooking.

1. Put rice in a sheet of laver. Rice put about 2/3 of the laver.


2. Two sesame leaves be placed on the rice.
And put ham, Zidane, crab meat, pickled radish.


3. You should roll it slow.

Too strongly or too fast roll it. Laver may be torn.


4. Subsequently, greasy knife cut kimbap.

5. Cooking is the end!!!
 


From childhood until now, kimbap is always delicious.
 
 
 
 
TIP>
1.Can put the tuna, or cheese. The children will very like. I like cheese kimbap, too.
2.Kimbap fast spoil, so do not eat in the summer.
3. Kimbap is delicious to eat baked.

  1. Hello. It's nice to see Kim bap! Now I really want to eat it!
    Maybe I have childish taste since I like to put tuna or cheese. Whew....
    In my experience, the laver always tore when I rolled Kim bap. However, the forth picture of Kim bap has perfect shape. I want to take lesson about how to roll Kim bap! The next step is also difficult to me. When I cut Kim bap, the shape wasn't recognized by everyone. But the last picture of Kim bap has perfect shape, too. I envy you! I knew how difficult it was. Thank you for your hard work~

  2. Hi Chan Mi~ I love kimbap! It's so delicious. I especially like chamchi mayo kimbap, and kimchi kimbap. I will try to make it at home, since your instructions make it look simple to do. Hopefully I can do it well. :D

  3. Hi~ Chanmi! I'm Haeun. One of my favorit food is kimbap! I don't like vegetables but I can eat the vegetables in the kimbap. It's so delicious~ Your blog makes me so hungry. I'm not good at cooking. So I always spoil the cook. I envy you. I want to be a good at cooking later. I should try some of your recipe! Thank you~
